Duskfade Release Date: When and Where It Launched

duskfade release date

Duskfade launched on August 13, 2026

The Duskfade release date was August 13, 2026. Weird Beluga and publisher Fireshine Games released the game simultaneously on PC and current-generation consoles rather than staggering the ports.

The launch lineup was:

PC via Steam
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series X|S
Nintendo Switch 2

There was no announced PlayStation 4, Xbox One or original Nintendo Switch version.

Price and launch offer

The announced standard price was $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. Steam scheduled a 20% introductory discount through August 27, bringing the US price to $23.99 during that window. Regional storefront prices can differ, so check the live listing before buying.

Duskfade is a single-player 3D action-platformer. It follows Zirian and his mechanical companion Cuckoo through a clockpunk world trapped in eternal night. The structure is compact: Tick Town works as the hub, four chains lead into distinct regions, and later abilities open routes you passed earlier.

What happened before launch?

The Steam demo arrived before the full game and was later expanded. It covers the outskirts of Tick Town, a magical forest and clocktower ruins, then ends with a fight against Wrath. Demo progress does not carry into the retail game; the developers added material and polish to the opening and wanted players to start it again.

That demo remains the safest way to check the movement and camera on PC. The full Steam details are kept on the Duskfade Steam page so this article can stay focused on timing.

Was the date delayed?

The public release announcement locked in August 13, and the game arrived on that date. Earlier material only said “2026,” but that was a release window, not a missed day.

If you are seeing older previews that describe Duskfade as upcoming, check their publication date. The game is out now.
